Please refer to the Australian Terrier Club of America for more information and the complete list of responsible Aussie breeders in the USA.

Please refer to the information below about what health testing Australian Terriers should have prior to breeding.

We love modern medicine! However, Sulfa Drugs have been well known to cause problems, including thrombocytopenia (fatally low platelets), in Australian Terriers. Please refer to the information below about sulfa drugs and Australian Terriers and discuss other medication options with your vet if necessary.

Below is the Official Breed Standard for the Australian Terrier.

Please feel free to search for our dogs in the registry of the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals to confirm our health testing.

The following is an article by Michelle Welton on training dogs. We believe dogs benefit from a combination of reward and correction based training: correct a dog's bad behavior, set the dog up to succeed in good behavior, and reward the good behavior. Please read the article and contact us with any questions/training needs. We are always happy to help dog owners and are present for the lifetime of our puppies to help you have the best relationship you can have with your Aussie! Please note that while we respect Michelle Welton's opinions on training, she does NOT have experience with the breed and her website is NOT the best source of information about the Australian Terrier. We also highly recommend attending training classes with experienced trainers to teach your puppy.
